Frequent Questions

Q: How can I get more information on a shirt?
A: Please e-mail questions, comments, or concerns to wordlesssongs@yahoo.com. Inquiries will typically be responded to within 3-4 hours.

Q: How much for shipping?
A: Shipping is calculated on the amount of items purchased and the distance from Georgia. Overnight shipping is available for 17.00 via USPS Express Mail. (UPS or FED EX also available but prices will vary--insurance is included with these carriers). INTERNATIONAL ORDERS SHIP VIA AIRMAIL FOR 12.50 (add $2.50 for each additional shirt). Please be aware that sometimes due to your physical location, overnight shipping may take up to two days. If you have a Fedex or UPS account we're willing to ship it overnight and charge the shipping to your account. Simply provide us with the account number.

Q: What are the acceptable forms of payment?
A: We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover through our SSL secure check-out system, Paypal, and checks and money orders. For checks and money orders we will pull the item and hold it for you until your payment arrives.

Q: What is the refund policy?
A: If you are not happy with your shirt send it back and we will refund your money LESS shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee. If we've made a mistake in the listing, we'll refund your money WITH shipping charges! Either way, you end up satisfied!

Q: When are new shirts added?
A: We post updates on the home page of the site. Keep checking as we are expanding the business everyday and the L's and XL's don't usually last very long!

Q: How do you measure a shirt?
A: The Chest is measured from armpit to armpit across the back; the shoulder is measured from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back; the sleeve is measured from shoulder/arm seam straight down to the end of the cuff; and the back is measured from the top of the collar straight down to the bottom of the hem. We recommend finding a shirt that fits you nicely and measure it at home. Then, buy a comparable shirt--do not pay attention to the size marker, as in vintage clothes it is often not very accurate.

Q: Why are XL shirts more money?
A: Extra-Large shirts are very difficult to find in good condition and given the supersizing of the American public, these are the most desirable vintage shirts. Generally we cannot keep XL's in stock so if you find something you like in XL snatch it up...we guarantee it won't last.

Q: Why buy vintage clothing from Wordless Songs?
A: Wordless Songs is a family business located just outside of Athens, Georgia and allows us to help support our family of five by doing what we love--supplying funky clothing to like-minded folks. Your support is VERY important to us. Most importantly, we believe in vintage clothing. Georgia O'Keefee once said, "The meaning of a word to me is not as exact as the meaning of a color. Colors and shapes make a more definite statement than words." And Oscar Wilde once said, "Through art and only through art, can we realize perfection." Vintage clothing is not only inexpensive (relatively), each item has its own unique personality which--when worn--frees the artist within all of us.

Q: Can I place a custom wholesale order?
A: We are more than happy to try to accommodate custom wholesale orders. Please e-mail us and we will see what we can do. Custom wholesale orders have a $500 minimum.

Q: Do you buy vintage clothing?
A: We buy only men's 60's and 70's era clothing. Please e-mail us at wordlesssongs@yahoo.com and let us know what you have and how much you are asking for it.
